Raffles
How a raffle works: a step-by-step guide.
The process is simple and transparent from start to finish.
Price & Discount
An item is listed at a fixed price in $ATR (e.g., 1,000 $ATR). Your staking plan gives you a discount on this price (e.g., 20% off for a Supporter), which sets your final entry price (800 $ATR).
Deposit
During the 24-hour window, you deposit your final entry price into a secure, on-chain vault directly on the drop page. You can see how many other participants have entered, but the process is calm and unhurried.
The Two Outcomes
At the end of the 24 hours, a winner is chosen randomly and transparently using our on-chain randomness solution, powered by Switchboard.
- If you win: Congratulations! You receive the item, which is shipped directly to you.
- If you don't win: You are immediately and automatically refunded 100% of your deposited $ATR. But that's not all. You also receive your share of the $ATR redistribution from the sale.
Our philosophy: fairness over speed.
Our primary sales method is a unique raffle system designed to be fair, transparent, and stress-free. Initially, we explored a traditional "First Come, First Served" (FCFS) model. We quickly realized this created a frustrating environment that favored the fastest click over the most dedicated community member. It rewarded bots and "pro gamers," which is not aligned with our vision of building a fair and accessible community. To solve this, we developed our signature raffle system. Instead of a frantic race, we provide a calm 24-hour window for every major drop. This gives every eligible participant, regardless of their time zone or connection speed, an equal opportunity to enter.
A system built for holders: $ATR redistribution.
A key principle of Artrade is that you never leave a raffle empty-handed. While only one person wins the item, the value generated by the sale is shared across the entire ecosystem. The $ATR spent by the winner is redistributed according to our tokenomics model to create a circular, self-sustaining economy.
(For a detailed breakdown of our 50/40/10 split, please see Chapter 5: Tokenomics and Chapter 6: Staking).
Rewarding loyalty: the luck multiplier.
To further enhance fairness and reward our most loyal participants, we are implementing the "Luck Multiplier" feature. The principle is simple: every time you participate in a raffle and don't win, your chance of winning the next one you enter will gradually increase. For example, after participating in five consecutive raffles without a win, your luck multiplier will effectively double your chance of winning your next entry. This system is designed to reduce unlucky streaks and make participation more strategic and ultimately more rewarding.
